Charlotte Michele Vaughn Worthy has worked over 10 years as an educator in the Gadsden City School System. Charlotte is the department chair for the Gadsden City High School Career Technical Department. Charlotte believes that education is the key to economic freedom and that education is the one thing that can never be taken away.
Charlotte is married to Councilman Thomas Worthy and together they have two sons TJ and Blake. She has one grandchild named Emiya’rai Grace Worthy.
Charlotte earned her undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration. She furthered her education by earning a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Charlotte earned a certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist and Adobe Certified Associate.
Charlotte serves on several non-profit organizations such as the Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame and Gadsden Empowerment Initiative.
